A B S T R A C T
A simple, Accurate, precise method was developed for the simultaneous estimation of the Metformine hydrochloride and Pioglitazone in Tablet dosage form. Chromatogram was run through C18, 4.6 mm, 5mm Make:x Terra Mobile phase containing Acetonitrile and Water in the ratio of 50:50 was pumped through column at a flow rate of 1ml/min. Optimized wavelength for Metformin and Pioglitazone was 242nm. %RSD of the Metformin and Pioglitazone were and found to be less than 2. Lnearity range of Metformin and Pioglitazone 25-125mg/ml. Correlation coefficient is 0.999.
