A B S T R A C T
The role of medicinal plants in promoting the ability of human health to cope with the unpleasant and difficult situations is well documented from ancient times till date all over the world. The present study aims to investigate the in-vitro anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities of methanol extract of two Fabaceae. The antioxidant activity was evaluated by DPPH and the reducing power essay and anti-inflammatory activity with the Human Red Blood Cell (HRBC) membrane stabilization method. The results confirm the role of the two species as promising free radical scavengers, potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents.
